The Nanyang Technological University in Singapore offers, amongst other programs, freshmen scholarships for non-Singapore Citizens.

Part of the awards are administered by the NTU Office of Admissions & Financial Aid, such as the Nanyang Scholarship which are granted to outstanding freshmen who intend to pursue undergraduate programmes. High academic level, leadership skills and co-curricular activities are the main requirements to apply for the program.

The College Scholarship is awarded to high performance freshmen pursuing full-time undergraduate programmes at NTU.

Up to five Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) Undergraduate Scholarship are awarded each year to freshmen students with an outstanding performance and creative thinking who intend to follow an Environmental Earth Systems Science course.

The REP Renaissance Engineering Programme Scholarship is awarded to outstanding freshmen pursuing a full-time Renaissance Engineering Programme in NTU.

All of the above mentioned scholarships are open to individuals from all nationalities.

NTU also offers specific awards for applicants from Asian countries as well as for citizens or permanent residents from the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), except Singapore. The awards are listed below:

  • The NTU Science and Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship, awarded to outstanding applicants from the Asian countries
  • The ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarships, available for countries belonging to the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), except for Singapore.

There are also external institutions and organizations that offer scholarships to students who intend to take an undergraduate or mid-term course at certain universities including Nanyang Technological University.

The BCA-Industry Built Environment Scholarship supports part-time and full-time courses, undergraduate studies, diploma or specialist training programs among a wide range of options. Their scholarships are aimed to help students develop careers that can make contributions to sustain and improve the local environment.

The Dr. Goh Keng Swee Scholarship is a private scholarship administered by the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS). They are awarded to outstanding students from 15 Asia Pacific countries (Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, PRC, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos and Myanmar) to pursue undergraduate studies at local universities in Singapore including NTU.

The JTC Scholarship offers support to high level students who are pursuing courses related to the following areas: Accountancy, Business/Economics, Engineering, Facilities Management, Human Real Estate, amongst others. Internships in several business areas at JTC are part of the program.

The Kuok Foundation Undergraduate Awards are a group of several scholarships to be granted to Malaysian citizens applying for or currently pursuing full time undergraduate studies at NTU and aim to help students in need who have achieved excellent academic levels and hold good co-curriculum records.
